Meet Your Instructor

~

Hey there! I’m Sarah,

I’m so glad you’re here

I came to yoga nearly 15 years ago, at first for the physical practice — movement, strength, the way it made me feel in my body. But over time, it became something much quieter and more meaningful. What kept me coming back wasn’t the poses, but the space it created — to pause, to observe, and to respond to life with more steadiness.

That shift shaped everything. It changed the way I move through challenges, the way I show up for my family, and the way I understand strength. Not as force, but as presence.

I’m a mother of four and have been married to my best friend for over 20 years. My life outside of yoga is simple and full — time spent cooking, traveling, and being outdoors, I have a true belief that nature heals. Those rhythms influence the way I teach just as much as anything I learned in training.

My work began in corporate wellness, teaching in high-performance environments where stress and pace are constant. From there, it expanded into private sessions and working with children. Across every setting, I saw the same thing — when yoga is personal and thoughtfully guided, it has the ability to truly shift how someone experiences their life.

Prava Yoga grew from that understanding. It’s a traveling practice, designed to meet people where they are — not just physically, but in the reality of their daily lives.

This work is a reflection of my own path, and I’m grateful to share it.

"Movement is a medicine for creating change in a person's physical, emotional, and mental states."
